What to Expect Next: Your Family Photoshoot Experience
Thank you for booking your session with PBJ Photography by Jodi! I’m excited to capture beautiful memories for you and your family. Here’s a quick guide on what to expect from the moment your session is booked until your final gallery is delivered.
1. Before Your Session
Once your booking is confirmed, I may send a short questionnaire to learn more about your family, your vision for the session, and any special requests you may have. I’ll also provide helpful tips on what to wear, location suggestions, and ways to help prepare children for the session.

2. Session Day
On the day of your session, we’ll meet at the agreed location and spend about one hour capturing a mixture of posed portraits and natural candid moments.
My sessions are relaxed, laid back, and designed to feel fun rather than stressful. Don’t worry if you feel awkward in front of the camera — I will guide you through posing the entire time.
Please plan to arrive a few minutes early, especially for sunset sessions, as lighting changes quickly and late arrival time may reduce shooting time.
3. After Your Session
After your session, I carefully hand-edit your images to ensure they match the style and quality seen throughout my portfolio.
Your final gallery is typically delivered within 2–3 weeks. Once complete, you’ll receive a private online gallery link where you can:
• View your images
• Download your photos
• Share with family and friends
• Order professional prints and products directly from the gallery
4. Prints, Wall Art & Albums
Professional-quality prints, wall art, and albums are available for purchase and make beautiful keepsakes for your home and family.
If your package includes an album, I will create a custom album design using your selected images. You’ll receive a proof to review and request any final changes before it is ordered.

Yes! Minor adjustments can usually be accommodated to help ensure you love your final images.
What if I need to reschedule?
I understand life happens. If you need to reschedule, please let me know as soon as possible so we can work together to find another available date.
What happens if the weather is bad?
If weather conditions are unsafe or unsuitable for the session, we will reschedule your photoshoot to another available date at no additional charge.
